Lisa Wiersma

Founder | Principal

Lisa Wiersma, founding Principal of the Petoskey Group, has over 25 years of commercial real estate and financial management experience, specializing in development project management, program management, accounting and transaction advisory services. Lisa has deep background in the not-for-profit, affordable housing and mixed-use development sectors.

Executive Real Estate Experience

Lisa has served in senior development, project management and corporate finance leaderships positions with Cushman & Wakefield, Telesis Corporation, Vornado Charles E. Smith Management, LLC, JLL, Lowe Enterprises and Concord Partners. Lisa served as an adjunct professor with the University of Maryland’s Master of Real Estate Development program in the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation, where she taught Real Estate Finance from 2011 to 2017. Lisa maintains professional affiliations with the Urban Land Institute, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), DC Building Industry Association and the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association. She received her M.S. in Business – Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin Madison and her B.S. in Architecture from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Eileen Hallquist

Principal

Eileen Hallquist, Principal of the Petoskey Group, has over 30 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry with specialty expertise in portfolio asset management, value-add repositioning, development project formulation and sustainability. Eileen has strong expertise in the commercial office, multifamily and urban infill project categories.

Executive Real Estate Experience

Eileen has held senior executive positions in asset management and development capacities for leading REIT and opportunity funds including Vulcan Real Estate, the Black Creek Diversified Property Fund, the JBG Companies and Lowe Enterprises. Eileen has served on the Board of Trustees for the University of Virginia’s School of Architecture as well as on the Advisory Board to the University of Maryland Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development.  She is a past Board Member of the National Network for Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), and former President of the Washington DC Chapter of CREW.  Eileen is a LEED® Accredited Professional, Licensed Real Estate Broker in the State of Washington and a former Registered Architect in the District of Columbia.  She received her M.B.A from the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of Virginia and her B.S. in Architecture, University of Virginia.
